Building
"Prototyping is the conversation you have with your idea"
Hi There!
In this weekly blog, I would be exploring the next design thinking phase BUILD!!!!!
What is really build?
To produce a number of inexpensive, scaled-down versions of the product or specific features found within the product, so they can investigate the problem solutions generated in the previous stage.
In this stage I am creating a more semi medium fi prototype this is one where the product is created with practical functionalities. This is the next intermediate stage of my product development since I am moving from lo-fi to hi-fi.
Plus, a 3D digital model.
This is an experimental phase, and the aim I am trying to identify the best possible solution for each of the problems identified during the first three stages. The solutions are implemented within the prototypes, and, one by one, they are investigated and either accepted, improved and re-examined, or rejected on the basis of the users’ experiences.
Technical drawing to understand the building process better.
Changed the bottom part of the sphere shape coz it wasn't really practical in terms of creating a sphere shape prototype and the seating position of the chair would be unstable.
2nd mockup!!!!
In conclusion
The best way to reach the final level with minimum rework lies with, prototyping and user testing. So don’t skip it. Don’t believe in any guesses or gut feelings. Having an idea/problem? Simply create possible prototypes for it and validate it with end-users. Let the real users experience what you have in mind rather than just explaining it and leaving it to the imagination.
Later!!!
