Testing Phase
" Usability testing shows you if something is usable. Beta better testing shows you if people will actually use it." - Rachel Decker
Hi there!
Introduction to this weekly blog post.
We were asked to conduct a user testing approach with issues affecting them post-COVID pandemic basically a human-centric perspective on COVID -19.
Content
1. Define test & types of testings
2. feedback from
3. Conclusion
Before I start I need to understand what is testing?
Testing, in Design Thinking, involves generating user feedback as related to the prototypes you have developed, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of your users.
Types of testing
- Concept testing
- A/B testing
- Usability testing
- First click testing
- Tree testing
How to conduct an effective design testing method?
- Set an objective
Film the entire the process and solve the problem be in that mindset.
- Build your prototype
- Create a plan

- Recruit participants
1st Mustafa Adam
2nd Sasha Adam
- Gather all the necessary equipments
Cardboard / Safe wrap / tape
- Document your findings
In conclusion:
The 3rd mock phase was a success based on the feedback I received from my 2 participants
1. Mustafa used the Social distancing work station with an air purifier and built-in- laptop/pc & phone with all the stationery and material needed to work as a highlighter, pen, pencil all built-in
using virtual reality technology.
His only suggestions were if it could be portable in the further?
2. Sasha used the virtual reality interface that eliminates PC/ Laptop & phone using AI and automated technology.
Her only suggestions were if the size of the font would be bigger and clearer.
