Iterate
Hi there!
In this weekly blog, I would be exploring the next design thinking phase ITERATE!!!!
What is Design Iteration?
Great designs don't just appear overnight – they take time to get right. it doesn't get one try to make a product the best it can be, it takes many iterations to get the product the way that it best suits the user.
Day 1: Define, Map, Sketch
Why? to finding the right problem to focus on and multiple solutions to address it.
"Problem being that work space not safe enough" during times like this and addressed many solution together since we're from different educational background thankfully this helps to close knowledge gaps. The Team listens, takes notes, and re-frames challenges they share into opportunities.
Design sprint team includes:
Eman Adam A banker
Sasha Adam A general practitioner
Yasmin Adan A psychologist
Mustafa Adam An Interior Architect
Day 2: Decide and Storyboard
We focused on choosing one concept and refining it in detail
Concept
- "Sphere"
- Workspace furniture, spherical furniture design, virtual reality technology, purifying the air continuously while inside.
- Sphere-shaped furniture sci-fi inspired.
Storyboard
Day 3: Prototype
We solely dedicated to building the prototype
We used regular cardboard's
Day 4: Test
Was dedicated only to the user-tests.
So, the problems i encountered was making the sphere shape was a nightmare but likely the intended idea was of plastic material acrylic to be certain so get a basic idea of the product we place the prototype chair on top on another chair just visually understand the concept properly.
the interactive screen wasn't able to be placed on the sphere since I couldn't get the shape so the phase we place on the chair but the intended idea it would be placed on the surface.
Oh, well Iterate Phase is all about Build, Launch, Test, Launch, Test, Test, Test.
