Material hunting

No design is possible  until the materials with which you  design  are completely understood. ..    Ludwig Mies van der Rohe Hi there! Based on last week's feedback from Mr. Ee kanag an expert in furniture and materials plus  Ms. Christine a product design senior lecture "my mentor"  I was really happy with the positive feedback I received but that I have to look into better materials especially for the prototyping phase and the products called......... "OFFICE BUBBLE" Material  1. Acrylic  2. PVC board

Materials  This is a cruelty-free vegan material called algae which I found interesting if I was considering the foldable partitions. This is a frameless double glazed glass material used by many offices for creating partitions with wouldn't be folding the partition then this work. Colors  Interface design    Interface testing  💁 Sasha used the virtual reality interface that eliminates PC/ Laptop & phone using AI and automated technology. Her only suggestions were if the size of the font would be bigger and clearer.

Testing Phase

" Usability testing shows you if something is usable. Beta better testing shows you if people will actually use it." - Rachel Decker   Hi there! Introduction to this weekly blog post. We were asked to conduct a user testing approach with issues affecting them post-COVID  pandemic basically a human-centric perspective on COVID -19.  Content 1. Define test & types of testings  2. feedback from  3. Conclusion Before I start I need to understand what is testing? Testing, in Design Thinking , involves generating user feedback as related to the prototypes you have developed, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of your users. Types of testing  Concept testing  A/B testing Usability testing  First click testing  Tree testing  How to conduct an effective design testing method? Set an objective Film the entire the process and solve the problem be in that mindset. Build your prototype Create a plan  Recruit participants...

Building

"Prototyping is the conversation you have with your idea" Hi There! In this weekly blog, I would be exploring the next design thinking phase BUILD!!!!! What is really build? To produce a number of inexpensive, scaled-down versions of the product or specific features found within the product, so they can investigate the problem solutions generated in the previous stage. In this stage I am creating a more semi medium fi prototype this is one where the product is created with practical functionalities. This is the next  intermediate stage of my product development since I am moving from lo-fi to hi-fi.  Plus, a 3D digital model. This is an experimental phase, and the aim I am trying to identify the best possible solution for each of the problems identified during the first three stages. The solutions are implemented within the prototypes, and, one by one, they are investigated and either accepted, improved and re-examined, or rejected on the basis of the users’ experiences. Tech...
