Hi there!

In this stage, I'd be focusing on the ideation phase to helps my clients jump start the process of turning our findings into action.

Through a series of engaging idea generation and exploration of our findings. hopefully, we would walk away with scads of “next steps” so our ethnographic work can benefit them in no time flat. 

Before I begin I needed to understand this phase properly so, what is ideation really?

Ideate is the mode in which you generate radical design alternatives. Ideation is a process of “going wide” in terms of concepts and outcomes—a mode of “flaring” instead of “focus”. The goal of ideation is to explore a wide solution space—both a large quantity and broad diversity of ideas. From this vast repository of ideas, you can build prototypes to test with users. 


Ideation has several methods but the method I chose to take was:


How to use IL/IW/WI method?

Chime in by expressing "likes", "wishes" or "what if" as succinct headlines.

So, I began by asking my brother questions using the IL/IW/WI methods

What do you? 

He mentioned 2 ideas he found interesting:-

  • He liked were "Sphere"
  • He Wished for workspace furniture, spherical furniture design, virtual reality technology, purifying the air continuously while inside.
  • What if sphere-shaped furniture sci-fi inspired.


  • He liked the "Sydney Opera House"
  • He Wished for workspace/home furniture, Utzon, birdwings, shape & form of clouds, walnut and palm tree, virtual reality, purifying the air while inside it continuously.
  • What if  Sydney opera house furniture nature-inspired.

  Materials  This is a cruelty-free vegan material called algae which I found interesting if I was considering the foldable partitions. This is a frameless double glazed glass material used by many offices for creating partitions with wouldn't be folding the partition then this work. Colors  Interface design    Interface testing  💁 Sasha used the virtual reality interface that eliminates PC/ Laptop & phone using AI and automated technology. Her only suggestions were if the size of the font would be bigger and clearer.
